Stan Cooper Prints

Hi, I’m Fiona Taylor, Stan Cooper’s granddaughter.

I remember my grandpa drawing a portrait of me when I was very young. I had to sit ever so still, and I remember he got a bit exasperated with my fidgeting quite early on in the process and suggested I get a book to read…. as a result, you couldn’t see my eyes in the portrait because I was looking down!

Grandpa always had a camera with him when we went out on family walks. I didn’t realise it at the time, but he must have constantly been on the lookout for images that inspired him, that he could then turn into artwork.

I now live in North West England. I am home educating my son, and studying for a degree in counselling part-time. Meanwhile, I am running the Stan Cooper Prints shop over on Etsy, and doing all the things that requires.
