Is the summer about to end? It’s warm-ish but cloudy here in North-West England today. They say we’ll have a lovely sunny day on Monday, but it feels as though that may be a bit of a last gasp of summery weather, as the lights are going on earlier, the birch leaves are already starting to fall and the schools here only have another week before starting the new year…. But I’m not ready for the summer to end!! Give me another few days of feeling the warm sun on my skin and being able to wear flip flops and short sleeves… before settling in for the shorter days and gloomy skies of autumn.
